BRYAN COUNTY, Okla. -- Michael Edelen made headlines when authorities say he escaped from the Bryan County Jail. On Wednesday, Edelen was in court.

Edelen, 38, pleaded not guilty to escape charges from a May 2006 incident. Authorities say Edelen was on the run for five days until federal agents captured him in Key West, Florida.

Bryan County Sheriff's officials say Edelen tried to escape a second time from the county jail in August of 2006. He pleaded not guilty to that attempted escape charge also.

Edelen’s trials are scheduled for July.

Since they finally caught him, he needs to be in court! Just my opinion from your headline.
