SHERMAN, Tex. -- The Muscular Dystrophy Association was in Sherman Thursday raising money for a cure. Officials from the Dallas office of MDA held their annual lock down event at Texas Roadhouse on Highway 75.

Representatives from area business were selected and locked-up for the day in attempts to raise money to get themselves out of jail. Officials say they have been doing the event for the past year and a half, and they hope this year’s event is more successful than last year’s.

The money raised will also go to help children get to summer camp.
