DURANT, Okla. -- The water is back on at Crescent Creek Apartments, but for some residents it's already too late.

After being told their utilities would be cut off earlier this week, many tenants moved or are planning to leave this week.

The complex was on the cut off list, and Thursday morning at 8 a.m., the water was shut off, but according to city manager Jim Dunegan, payment arrangements were made to pay the $16,000 balance, and the water was turned back on later in the morning.

No word on who made those arrangements, but we'll bring you more on this story tonight on First News Late Edition.
