7-19-05 - Grayson County libraries scored a victory today with commissioners, winning approval to have funding levels from three years ago restored. After a public hearing, commissioners decided that library funding was an area they couldn't cut.

Van Alstyne, Howe, Whitesboro, Whitewright, and Pottsboro will receive the amount they received three years ago before cuts were made. Libraries had no idea what today's outcome would be.

Collinsville's Public Library will also begin receiving funding this next year.
