9-16-05 - A family of five thought missing from Ardmore has now been found with the help of the Ardmore School District.
KXII reported Thursday that 26-year-old Pedro Mata of Duncan had gone to visit his kids in Ardmore who lived with their 25-year-old mother, Paula Arguelles.
Police said that her home on C Street Northwest appeared as if the family expected to return shortly, and there was concern because Mata has a history of domestic violence and refused to take court-ordered anger management classes.
The family was found because a Houston school called the Ardmore school district requesting records to enroll Arguelles's six-year-old daughter.
According to police, the adults abruptly left for Houston to start a new life together. They did not say why they didn't contact family.
