COOKE COUNTY, Tex. -- The wait is finally over, and results are in for the Cooke County District Attorney Republican runoff election.
Janice Warder wins the nomination with 68% of the vote, over incumbent Cindy Stormer who took 32% of the vote.
Warder will face independent candidate Nancy Manning in November.
In Fannin, Lamar and Red River Counties, the Democratic nominee for 6th District Judge wraps up Tuesday night, with Dave Turner defeating David Hamilton for the nomination.
Turner received 66% of the vote to Hamilton's 34%.
Turner will face Republican Eric Clifford in November.
Judge Jim Lovett will step down at the beginning of next year.
