Roads will remain treacherous from snow and sleet until mid-day, when sunshine should melt most of it away. Snow is likely to remain on the ground until Friday.
8-2-05 – A caravan of 18 Grayson law enforcement vehicles visited every town in the county as a part of National Night Out. The nationwide event allows law enforcement to get to meet local townspeople, and helps neighbors get to know each other.
The Grayson caravan began in Bells and ended at Heritage Park in Denison. Along the way, they visited block parties in each town, meeting and shaking hands with locals.
After visiting each town, officers cast their vote for which towns were the most spirited. Whitesboro won the award while Tom Bean was called the most improved.
Fannin County also celebrated National Night Out.
