10-11-05 - Flames broke out around 10:30 a.m. Tuesday morning at a Sadler, Texas, home in the 7000 block of FM 901.
The resident described hearing a loud pop before seeing smoke and flames. When the man heard the pop and noticed the smoke, he grabbed what he could, got out of the house and called for help.
"Firefighters went in and saved some things," resident Ben Whitfill said. "My sister died five years ago, they got her pictures and that's all we really wanted."
The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
