Campbell Named District Judge in Bryan County

8-19-05 - OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) - Governor Henry appoints Bryan County District Attorney Mark Campbell to a district judge position.

The 40-year-old Campbell has been a state prosecutor for most of his legal career and was an assistant district attorney in Durant and Enid for 10 years before becoming district attorney in Bryan County in 2003.

Campbell earned a bachelor's degree from the University of Oklahoma and a law degree from Oklahoma City University.

He succeeds Judge Farrell Hatch, who recently retired from the bench.
