8-21-05 - A Holdenville man is killed when the Jeep he's riding in leaves a Hughes County road and rolls over in a ditch. The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says 45 year old Charles Walston was killed shortly before 4:30 this morning when the 1984 Jeep he was in hit a mud hole and headed off a wet road into a ditch.
The Jeep rolled one-and-a-half times and ejected the driver and all four of the passengers, including Walston.
The driver and three other passengers were hospitalized following the crash. The driver and two passengers were in critical but stable condition. Another passenger remained in critical condition.
