11-8-05 - Flames broke out at around 8:30 a.m. Tuesday morning in the 600 block of Patricia. Firefighters say a two-story home was heavily damaged. Neighbors saw flames and called for help.
"There's very extensive fire damage, crews are reporting serious damage in the attic, and serious smoke damage throughout the house," says Capt. Bill Macon of the Sherman Fire Department.
Investigators will be back on the scene today to look for an exact cause. The family wasn't home, so no one was hurt, and firefighters were able to save the family dog.
