GRAYSON COUNTY, Tex.-- The North Texas Regional Airport will soon have some help getting its name out. Grayson County commissioners approved the Powell Group to start a public relations and marketing project for the airport Monday morning.

Representatives from the Dallas-based firm said they can help county leaders prepare for the MD Helicopter announcement, whether or not the company chooses this area to set up shop.

Other industrial airports, like alliance in Fort Worth, have already hired public relations firms to help get their message out nationwide.

"It’s a great day to move forward," Grayson County Judge Drue Bynum said Monday.

County leaders expect a decision from MD Helicopter in the next few weeks.

Public relations firm to help county leaders to prepare for announcement? Well isn't that just ducky! Wished I could have someone else (taxpayers) pay for some firm out of Dallas to tell me how to run my business better.

Just dumb. Is the airport EVER gonna amount to much? I doubt it. No one cares except the people who own it!
