JOHNSTON COUNTY, Okla. -- It was a close call for a truck driver in Johnston County when his truck was hit by a 13-car train.

Luckily for the driver, it only clipped the rear right tire of that semi's trailer. The driver said he did see the train but misjudged the distance.

Investigators said the train was going nearly 50 miles an hour when it struck the 18-wheeler near mill creek.

Nobody was hurt. The truck driver was issued a citation.

The crossing has no warning lights.

I agree this trucker needs to count his blessings! He should have known better and stopped.

If the truck in the picture is the one that got hit - it looks like one that dropped a rock on to my windshield. Maybe the truckers should make sure they have their tarps over their loads *and* not try to out run trains.

It doesn't matter if it didn't have warning lights or not and this person seenthe train coming he should have stop maybe next time this person better stop watch and listen
