GRAYSON COUNTY, Tex. -- Christmas is still seven months away, but Grayson County officials are already planning changes to the Holiday Lights display.
Thanks to a $24,000 grant from the Smith Foundation, officials will expand the warehouse where volunteers store the lights and put up six new light displays, including one that may be constructed on the lake.
Officials say they hope the upgrades will draw more people out to see the lights. Those lights start shining at the end of November and continue through the end of the year.
