SHERMAN, TX - The Sherman Independent School District held a district-wide open house Thursday, so kids and their parents could see the schools they'll attend next year.

Sherman ISD is changing their zoning for next year.

It was especially important for many elementary students, who will be switching campuses.

We spoke to Neblett Principal, Linda Salinas, who used to be principal at Perrin.

She says this open house is a great way to prepare, "A large number of parents were here. I wasn't expecting this many. But for them to come and become a community of Neblett Elementary, that's powerful."
