SHERMAN, Tex. -- A call to local pharmacy landed a Sherman woman in jail.

Police say the woman told employees at Albertson’s pharmacy that she was calling on behalf of a doctor's office, but when pharmacists called to verify the request for 120 Xanax tablets, the doctor did not have any record of the patient.

When the woman tried to pick up the medication, police arrested her for forging a prescription.

The woman's name is not being released.

I know who she is and she is not a who's who's she is trash all the way. This lady is in jail now for 2 years. She has stolen from my nephew, robbed honest working people from their debit cards and it does not even phase her. She was finally so stupid and it got her where she needed to be. Horray for our justice system and for the pharmacy.

WHY did they not release her name? I have seen names in the newspaper and on tv (news)for a whole lot less. She must be a who's who of Grayson Co.

Real smart person,i keep telling you all that the prescription drug problem there in Grayson Co.is worse than any other drug. And this is all because the doctors are not doctors anymore they belong to the pharmucutical idustries. It is sad but true.Way too many doctors getting paid big bucks to prescrible these poisons.Apparently this person could not find one to do it,so she turned to this method and now she is in deep s***.You could get rid of alot of those types of medicines if you just legalize cannabis.

Addiction can really warp a person. Who in their right mind would think it could be that easy to fraudulently obtain a prescription drug?

Pharmacies catch forgeries all the time. What's so special about this one???

Posted by: Anonymous on May 20, 2008 at 08:32 AM
HAHAHA!! How dumb can people get!? No doctor in there right mind would call in a perscription that large for any patient! This lady obviously isnt the sharpest tool in the family shed... If it had been 30 with refills, she might have gotten away with it, MAYBE?

Why aren't they releasing her name?
