High Speed Chase Leads to Arrest

10-26-05 - A high speed chase late Tuesday night through Grayson and Bryan counties led to the arrest of a Wylie, Texas, man.

Bradley James Wallace, 24, led authorities on a high speed chase reaching more than 90 miles per hour through Denison and across the Red River into Bryan County.

After turning around in the City of Calera, Wallace continued south on Hwy. 75 until the Red River Bridge where authorities had set up spike strips. After the suspect?s vehicle was spiked on the two front tires, it continued for approximately two miles before Wallace has handcuffed.

In addition to driving a black Chevrolet pickup that was reported stolen, authorities found what they believed to be marijuana. Wallace currently is in the Grayson County Jail under charges of drug possession and theft. He remains in custody under $9,000 worth of bonds.
