11-15-05 - A Tishomingo woman accused of killing her husband over 20 years ago is heading back to Oregon today.
Brenda Duran was arrested in Tishomingo last month for killing her husband back in 1982. After years of silence she finally confessed to the crime, saying she was in an abusive relationship and had no other way out.
Duran waived her extradition rights over a week ago. Today Corvallis-Oregon authorities are flying her back to stand trial.
