Murder Suspects Could Be in Gainesville


11-15-05 - A husband and wife wanted for murder in North Carolina could be in the Gainesville area.

North Carolina Authorities say Scott Kevin Belk and his wife Rhonda Simpson Belk are wanted in connection with the murder of Scott's mother in Charlotte, North Carolina, that occurred on October 28th, 2005.

Scott is a white male, born on September 16, 1967, standing 5' 10" tall, weighting 200 pounds with a shaved head. Rhonda is a white female, born January 1st, 1967, standing 5' 7" tall and weighing 165 pounds.

Police say the two schould be considered armed and extremely dangerous. They say Scott has ties to the Aryan Nation.

Police also believe the Belks stole a white freightliner tractor in North Carolina. It was found Tuesday in the Gainesville Wal-Mart parking lot.

Scott Belk has several tattoos including one across his back that reads "Aryan" for the Aryan nation brotherhood, one on his chest with the initials "N.M.W." for No Matter What, another on his left wrist with the initials "S.R." for Scott and Rhonda, one of his upper wrist-forearm with a picture of a viking and the word "Sunshine", and a tatoo on his right shoulder with the word "Pony".
