Durant, Pauls Valley hoping for new community center
DURANT, OK -- The city of Durant is hoping to receive a grant for a new community center. City leaders gave a presentation to the Reynolds Foundation in Las Vegas. The foundation selected Durant as one of five Oklahoma cities to possibly receive funds to build a new community center-library.

DURANT, Okla. -- The city of Durant is hoping to receive a grant for a new community center. City leaders gave a presentation to the Reynolds Foundation in Las Vegas. The foundation selected Durant as one of five Oklahoma cities to possibly receive funds to build a new community center-library.

The city would provide the land, which currently is an area off Main & 15th Streets.

City leaders expect a decision from the Reynolds Foundation soon.

Pauls Valley is another city selected for a center.
