11-19-05 - OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) - Natural gas prices soared past record highs this month.
Most customers of Oklahoma Natural Gas will pay about 58 percent more this month for heat than they did in October.
O-N-G spokesman Don Sherry says the company has tried to warn customers early about the increase and says patrons will continue to see a rise in prices.
Utility companies and state and federal regulators for months have been warning that Oklahoma winter heating costs could be as high as 35 percent more than last winter.
