PARIS, TX-- The Paris City Council has awarded a local company the first contract on the city's $45M infrastructure bond.
Bray Construction came in with the lowest bid at $1.8M. The infrastructure bond was passed, by residents, last May to replace deteriorated water and sewer lines.
City officials expect five contracts, total, to be awarded.
Bray Construction will be cover Southwest Paris, which will take about four months to complete.
The city council is expected to start taking bids in May for the second contract, which will cover residential areas in west Paris.
