2 Sherman residents arrest of burglary of a motor vehicle

SHERMAN, TX - 2 Sherman residents have been arrested for burglary of a motor vehicle.

Early Tuesday morning an officer saw 19-year-old Terrin Bailey and 19-year-old Jose Winslett walking through a yard on North McKown Street.

When the officer approached them they took off and hid.

After being found police discovered a stolen wallet and several other items.

Police say they took the items from two vehicles on North McKown Street.

Both Bailey and Winslett are being charged with burglary of a motor vehicle which carries a penalty of up to 1 year in jail and a fine up to $4000.
