2 arrested after police chase from Denison to Bells

GRAYSON CO., TX -- A high-speed chase that began in Denison Tuesday afternoon ended in Bells with two arrests.

Just before 12:30 p.m. Denison police say they attempted to pull over a vehicle driven by Janie Jones, who was wanted on an outstanding warrant.

Officers say she fled and traveled south on U.S. 69 to Bells.

Police say she came to a dead end on McFarland Street and stopped.

Authorities say Jones and passenger Carl Donnell were arrested and meth was found in the vehicle.

Jones was arrested on several charges including the outstanding warrant, evading arrest, and possession of a controlled substance.

Donnell was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia.

Bells police assisted in the chase.
