COLLINSVILLE, TX --Two young men from Whitesboro were killed in a one car accident in Collinsville Wednesday.

Troopers said 20-year-old Scott Ragsdale was driving north on West Line Road around 4:30 p.m. when for unknown reasons, he crashed into a tree. One of his passengers, 20-year-old, Edward "Blake" Simmons was also killed in the crash. Family members tell us they're devastated.

"In deep shambles right now. I don't know what's going through my mind, it's difficult to comprehend and wrap around my mind that my cousin is gone and Blake too," said Kameron Moore.

Simmons died at the scene and Ragsdale was pronounced dead after being transported to Plano Medical Center.

Troopers say neither were wearing seat belts.

Another passenger, 20-year old Nathaniel Camp is in W.N.J. listed in critical, but stable condition. Funeral arrangements have been made for both Ragsdale and Simmons at Meador Funeral Homes in Whitesboro.
