DENISON, TX -- Tractors and combines rolled up and down Denison Main Street to kick off the 21st annual Golden Harvest Days festival.
The festival features new and historic tractors and is billed as one of the largest working farm heritage events in the Southern US.
The event continues tomorrow morning with a fly-in of small vintage aircraft.
The founder says he started the event in memory of his son but it has evolved over the years.
Jim Esbenshade of Esbenshade Farms said, "We do this every year to show the younger generation how we done it years ago. A lot of people don't even know what this equipment does."
Hundreds of tractors will be on display at Esbenshade Farms Saturday, from 8:30 a.m. in the morning to 4:30 p.m.
