2-13-06- Oklahoma’s School for the Deaf and School for the Blind honored the state’s first lady Monday. The school’s performing arts company put on musicals for Kim Henry during lunch.
The Oklahoma School for the Blind is based in Muskogee, and the School for the Deaf is in Sulphur. Before lunch Henry toured the Sulphur facility. Along with the performances she also received a plaque for her tireless support for the schools and for strong education.
Since September, Henry has appeared in public service announcements on behalf of both schools.
