Sex Offender Bill Passes Hurdle

OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) - A bill to provide notification if sex offenders are part of a construction crew is heading to the state Senate for consideration.

The bill passed the Senate Business and Labor Committee today.

It requires businesses to notify homeowners if they're sending
registered sex offenders to do construction or repair work at a
person's home.

The bill is sponsored by Senator Glenn Coffee.
