2-22-06 - Someone in Texoma could be $667,000 richer after a Powerball ticket matching five numbers was sold at Lasley's One Stop in Ardmore. The ticket is one of a handful across the nation that cashed in on Saturday.
The search continues in Nebraska for the person who won the $365 million jackpot.
The owner of Lasley’s One Stop told First News the Oklahoma Lottery contacted him on Sunday evening saying that the ticket may have been sold at his store. They confirmed that on Tuesday.
The ticket is originally worth only $200,000, but a bonus was awarded to the 39 national winners of the $200,000 prize and each will be awarded an additional $467,000.
Residents say that they are even more encouraged to play now after a local hit it big. According to Powerball rules, the winner has 60 days to claim their prize, and since the prize is so big they must contact the OLC to collect their winnings.
