3-14-06 - The Oklahoma Highway Patrol is investigating a fatality accident that happened off of Interstate 35 Tuesday afternoon. The accident occurred just south of the Oswalt Road exit off I-35 around 9:45 a.m.
Troopers are still sorting through all the details but say the driver of the semi truck veered off the road and when through a fence and hit a tree. The cab immediately was engulfed in flames. Deputies first on the scene say they heard small explosions from some type of ammunition inside the semi. Authorities are waiting on the vehicle to cool down before they go inside. Traffic on I-35 was slow through the area for about an hour.
