3-15-06 - City leaders from across Texoma were at Tanglewood Resort Wednesday talking how to get big success out of their small towns. Not very often do city leaders from both sides of the Red River get gathered all in the same spot.
Developers from Cooke, Fannin, and Grayson counties and some from Collin County were at Tanglewood to hear from Jack Schultz, CEO of Acricel and author of “Boomtown USA”. Both his company book focus on creating new jobs in rural area.
Schultz has been traveling across the country talking to “agerb” areas as he calls them on strategies they can use to thrive. Workforce Texoma brought him to the resort to speak with city leaders from the area.
