ARDMORE, Okla. -- An Ardmore couple was hauled off to jail after police say they discovered more than 2 ounces of marijuana wrapped up in an infant's diaper.

Detectives say they were investigating a separate case Thursday when they went to question Marqueze Collins, 21. They say a search of his pockets revealed crack cocaine, so they asked his companion waiting in the car if she had anything to reveal. That was when 19-year-old Angela Cannon handed over a diaper filled with marijuana.

There were three children in the car with her. Both Collins and Cannon are now facing drug charges. County records indicate that child endangerment charges were pending but have been dropped.

That is two hundred dollars worth of pot. I would rather my tax dollars go to help the children then give them 23,000 dollars worth of free housing per year.

This is the sadest thing i have ever heard putting your drugs in your childs diaper give me a break. What a loser! Those poor poor babies I hope they get put in a good home. And break the cycle of their future. Because we all know how they will end up if they keep living in that enviroment. These babies will be in my prayers and I will be praying that the judge will make the right decission. in this case.

CPS can't do anything without the Judge and the DA. I know I used to work for an agency that worked with Carter county CPS. We would work for months to remove a child who was cleary in danger and the judge would say no.

That's the law for ya. How can someone do that with kids involed.

This is exactly why CPS has such a lousy reputation. Arent these 2 a fine pair. The kids should have been removed then and these creeps sterilized so they wont foul the earth with any other innocent kids that will grow up around that crud.
