3-30-06 - There has been a break in a cold case that dates back five years. Sheriff Jim Duncan has confirmed the bones found in Pushmataha County last week belong to Jeffrey Ben of Clayton.
Ben disappeared from his home on January 29, 2001 when he was 18. He was headed for a party and that was the last time his family saw him. After Ben went missing his abandoned truck was found just a few miles from the location where the bones were found.
A logger spotted the remains in a wooded area in the northeast part of the county last Wednesday.
