ARDMORE, OK -- KXII-TV learned Thursday that a Carter County man who was accused of rape is no longer facing charges.

Jeremy Clay Cheek was set to appear in an Ardmore court Thursday, but the court clerk's office says the case has now been dismissed after the alleged victim declined to pursue charges.

if it really did happen,the state would of picked up the charges,even if she did'nt want them to.

Does anyone realize that maybe the victim is scared to pursue it? Does anyone know what it feels like to have to confront your rapist? Maybe we should think about that before we start saying that she lied, unless you were there and saw it happen.
