4-12-06 - A 67-year old man was stabbed 37 times by a woman he lives with early Tuesday morning. Police say 38-year old Barbara Louise Walker demanded money from the victim, Billy Linwood and when he refused she stabbed him with a knife and fled the scene.
The stabbing occurred at the Crystal Creek Apartments off of Crawford Street. Walker is in jail awaiting formal charges of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
Linwood was taken to Texoma Medical Center then transferred to a Dallas hospital in stable condition.
