DURANT, Okla. -- Durant police are investigating an unusual home invasion that happened early Sunday morning. Investigators say at least two people burglarized a home in the 400 block of Tennessee.

Police say the residents arrived home while the suspects were leaving, then followed the suspects to another home, led police there, and filed a police report. Police say later that same night two people, including Lou Ann Hamilton and Anthony Paleyo, returned to the home on Tennessee where they allegedly assaulted the residents in retaliation for filing a police report.

Andrew Jones says his girlfriend, Lou Ann Hamilton, is innocent because she and others were with Jones at a party.

The very next night, police responded to a separate incident where they found Paleyo, Hamilton, and Jones hiding in a shed. They were all arrested and charged with unlawful entry.

Charges may be filed against Paleyo and Hamilton for their part in the home invasion.
