4-28-06 - A local psychologist is facing criminal charges for practicing without a license.
Back in September of 2004 the Grayson County DA gave Cynthia Martin-Cannici six months to reimburse fees for treatment she gave to patients during the year she was not licensed by the state board. She was also required to complete 100 hours of community service.
The DA says since that time there has been no proof of completion for either condition. Martin-Cannici faces a Class A misdemeanor charge of practicing psychology without a license.
