OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) - An outbreak of E. coli in northeastern Oklahoma is now blamed for at least 73 illnesses and 50 hospitalizations.
One man has died and at least 12 of the victims are children.
Investigators are focusing on the Country Cottage restaurant in Locust Grove and are testing to determine how food there became contaminated.
The restaurant has been closed and a spokeswoman says it's not clear when - or if - it will reopen.
The victims have reported severe stomach cramps and bloody diarrhea and several are undergoing dialysis.
