06-01-06 - City officials are hoping to make Sherman a better place for the people who already live here.
Sherman council members are working on a plan to makeover the city magazine and also create a “City Views” television program. The new cable public access show would air once a month, as an up close look at what the local government is doing for taxpayers.
The idea comes from part of last year’s strategic planning to bring attention to services the city provides, like online water bill payments and upcoming events. City officials want to have the “City Views” program on air in a month.
