06-05-06 - Mercy Memorial Hospital is one step close to reaching its $22 million fundraising goal thanks to an old friend. Noble Energy executives flew in from Houston Monday morning to deliver a $250,000 check to the health center.
This is just the first installment in their $500,000 donation. The money will be used to build the new patient tower. Although the company moved its headquarters from Ardmore to Houston six years ago, executives say they can never forget their roots.
Mercy Memorial’s new tower will house 150 private rooms, and woman’s health center, and an ICU.
