DENISON, Tex. -- A grassfire near Eisenhower State Park burned several acres of land Tuesday afternoon.

Firefighters say they are not sure what started the fire around 3:15 Tuesday afternoon.

At least three departments worked together to put it out. Two brush trucks from Denison, one from Pottsboro, and a battalion and tanker from Preston responded.

Denison deputy fire chief Bill Ray says the dry weather made it harder to fight the fire.

No structures were in danger, and no one was hurt.
