PARIS, TX - Police in Paris are investigating two overnight shootings.

The first happened just after 12:30 this morning at 10th Northeast and Center Street. Police say 24-year-old Rashad Biggers of Hugo, Oklahoma, was on foot when several shots were fired out of a passing car. Police say Biggers was struck with at least one of those shots.

Then a couple of hours later officers responded to another shooting, this one on Southwest Third Street. 28-year old Marquis Dooty of Paris was shot several times.

So far, police don't have suspects in either shooting, and they say they don't know if they're related. Police say both men are in unknown conditions at Paris Regional Medical Center.

If you have information on either of these crimes you're asked to contact Lamar County Crime Stoppers at 903-785-TIPS or WWW.785-TIPS.COM/.
