2nd Annual "Bras for a Cause"

DENISON, TX -- They say laughter is the best medicine--and for dozens of breast cancer patients and survivors, those words will ring true Saturday night.

Women Rock is hosting the second annual "Bras for a Cause" at 7:00 pm Saturday.

About 400 people are expected to pack Silver Wings in Denison to see firefighters, SWAT team members, area doctors, mayors--even some of our own KXII personalities, don wildly decorated bras that will then be auctioned off to the highest bidder.

Even though it's all in good fun, it's also raising thousands of dollars to help Women Rock provide support services for Texoma women fighting breast cancer.

"It's always a surprise when those men come on stage because even they don't know what they're going to do, and it's a lot of fun. "

Last year the event raised more than $45,000 dollars.

KXII is a proud sponsor of Women Rock, Inc. For more information, click the link below.
