New Fannin Co. jail coming along
FANNIN COUNTY, TX -- The Fannin County Facilities Corporation Board approved over half a million dollars for design and construction work on the new Fannin County Detention Center on Thursday.

FANNIN COUNTY, Tex. -- The Fannin County Facilities Corporation Board approved over half a million dollars for design and construction work on the new Fannin County Detention Center on Thursday.

Construction drawings have been finalized, and the site has been cleared and set up.

Crews broke ground on the $31 million, 432-bed jail in August.

Work is expected to be complete by September 1, 2009.
