COLBERT, Okla. -- A Lousiana man facing second degree murder charges stemming from a fight last Friday that left another Louisiana man dead has bonded out of the Bryan County Jail.

Murder charges were signed Monday, and bond was set at $250,000 by the Bryan County District Attorney against 43-year-old Don Mancil of Louisiana.

Authorities say Mancil, a Louisiana resident, was initially booked into the Bryan County Jail on manslaughter charges, but those charges were later upgraded to second degree murder.

Mancil is accused of beating fellow Louisiana resident, 48-year-old Charles Thomas Randal to death at the former KOA Kampgrounds on Sherrard Street in Colbert, after the two got into a fight the night of October 3.

Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation officials tell us the two men have known each other for years and were in Oklahoma working on a pipeline. They say the fight was reportedly over a woman.

Randal later died from his injuries at a local hospital.

If convicted of second degree murder, Mancil could face 10 years to life in prison.

A preliminary hearing conference has been set for October 29.
