ARDMORE, OK -- Another bond proposal is on the ballot in Ardmore. Officials with the southern Oklahoma Technology Center are asking voters to approve a bond worth $8.5 million to expand the campus.

SOTC administrators say they hope the improvements will increase enrollment by 30%.

"There will be two propositions on the ballot. One proposition for $8.5 million bond issue, and then a $2 million operation cost. We need operational cost to hire the instructors and equipment and things that go into the buildings after we get them built," SOTC superintendent Dr. David Powell said.

That bond issue is set to appear on the November 4th ballot.

They already get much too much money from us. They need to learn to get by with what they have. I have to live off my pay check.
