6-18-06 - MARIETTA, Okla. (AP) - Jury selection is scheduled to begin tomorrow in the trial of a man accused of stabbing an elderly Marietta couple to death as they slept.
Maurice Landon Miller was brought back to Love County from Louisiana earlier this month to stand trial on two counts of first-degree murder. He's accused of killing James and Lena West at their home on December sixth, 1994.
The 28-year-old Miller has pleaded innocent.
Jury selection is expected to take most of the day tomorrow and may extend into Tuesday. About 150 prospective jurors have been summoned to arrive at the courthouse tomorrow morning.
