Grayson Inmate Dies in Custody

6-21-06 - Authorities are investigating what led to the death of a man who began having seizures while in custody at the Grayson County Jail last week. Sherman police arrested the 29-year-old on Friday.

While being processed at the jail, he became ill and was rushed to the hospital. The man died on Tuesday.

His body was sent to the Medical Examiner’s office for an autopsy to determine the cause of death. An investigation is being conducted by the Criminal Investigation Section of the Grayson County Sheriff’s Office with assistance from the Department of Public Safety, Texas Ranger division.
