Roads will remain treacherous from snow and sleet until mid-day, when sunshine should melt most of it away. Snow is likely to remain on the ground until Friday.
The following is a news release from the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation:
Murder charges have been filed against a 17-year-old Soper man for the shooting death of 20-year-old Drew Hall Saturday morning. Hall was struck with a round from a 30-06 rifle as he drove by the suspect’s home. Hall and Bruce Keller (dob 11-3-88) had been involved in a verbal altercation via cell phone moments before the shooting.
Keller told agents Hall drove by his home and threw a can outside the driver’s window in front of Keller’s home. Keller shot at Hall’s Chevy Tahoe twice hitting the victim one time in the upper body. Three other people inside Hall’s vehicle drove him to Bokchito where an ambulance pickup him up and transported him to a Durant hospital where the Boswell man was pronounced dead.
One count of second-degree murder was filed Wednesday against Keller. Second-degree murder denotes authorities believe no premeditation was involved.
