MARIETTA, Okla. (AP) - A Marietta man who investigators believe
went to sleep at the wheel is dead after crashing his pickup truck
in Love County Monday morning.
The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says Corey Brashear died in the
accident on US Highway 77 near Marietta just before 11:30.
Troopers say Brashear was northbound when his truck ran off the
highway and hit an embankment. The truck then went airborne for
about 130 feet and landed on its top.
Investigators say Brashear wasn't wearing a seat belt and was
thrown nearly 150 feet from the truck.
